“Our journey with Cidori began 4 years ago when we invited them in to talk about a Lean approach as a framework for our training objectives, aligned with Continuous Improvement and 6 Sigma methodologies.

Our requirement was that the training be specifically targeted at our shop-floor workforce – providing them with the tools and results based knowledge that would drive forward Cranswick cultural and behavioural strategy. Immediately Cidori’s team helped us to see ways to achieve this through bespoke apprenticeship programs.

Program

Throughout the journey we have not only seen an array of implemented and successful projects, which have directly delivered positive impact to our profitability, but our partnership with Cidori has afforded us the opportunity to expand training to Leadership Programs targeted at a Supervisory/Shift leader level and also across our Management team.

Now in the 4th year of our collaboration, we are currently running several training programs, ranging from ESOL to help upskill our workforce and empower greater communication and enhanced cultural cohesion, through to Business Improvement Technique programs across levels 2-4.

Outcomes

This journey has seen us recently enter into negotiation with Cidori and we are delighted to have directly recruited Cidori’s lead trainer into our CI team – this we feel characterises the strength of the relationship that we have forged – that such a transition has been mutually beneficial has only served to enhance and build our working relationship still further.

Currently Cidori is working with us in multiple locations and we look forward to further developing this successful partnership.
